Lazy Sunday’s are my fav thing, waking up late curling up on the couch and watching friends on Netflix until I have to be responsible and make food. One can’t go wrong with a lazy Sunday.
But, there comes a time when you actually have to get up and be productive. From personal experience, that is hard to do. So here are some ways that you can be productive while still maintaining a lazy Sunday.
First things first. Waking up. Personally, this is that hardest part. Finding the strength to pry those sheets off of yourself and face the music of the day. One way I tend to start my day is by turning on my Spotify playlists to brighten my mood and get me motivated for the day. My morning playlist is called ¨Indie wannabe¨ its upbeat yet not something I would take to the gym with me.
Now, either in my head or on a piece of paper I write down everything that needs to be done. Homework? Chores? I do this so I can plan out my day effectively so I am not leaving everything to the last minute and so I can relax while I’m doing all my errands.
I don’t know why but on Sundays I always eat healthy, not that I don’t normally but every Sunday I get this health kick and I am extremely conscious of what I am putting into my body. I start my day off with a nutritious smoothie or eggs on toast and take my dog on a walk. Lunch I have a salad of sorts either a spinach/kale salad or a veggie salad and I always overload these with veggies. Dinner tends to be chicken and roasted veggies or fish and salad, something that is warm that contains a major portion of protein
Not just on Sundays, but every day try your best to eat a well-balanced diet and even if that is a hard step for you even just one nutritious packed meal, personally tends to just make my day overall better. (especially before test)
Those are three ways I make those lazy Sundays, turn into productive Sundays while still giving yourself a break.
