I have been really into smoothies for the past year, like big time. I find it really hard to eat a healthy breakfast with the little amount of time I have in the morning, between the early morning rise and getting out the door its hard to make something that will give me the nutrients my body needs throughout the day. So when I am in a rush (which is most of the time) I tend to make myself a smoothie packed with lush ingredients to keep me going. This recipe is one I find myself making quite a lot these days, so I thought I would share it with you guys. hope you are having a beaut week, what do you guys put in your smoothies?
what you will need.
1 1/2 of frozen fruit (blackberries, blueberries, strawberries work best)
1 cup of milk
1/2 of spinach
1/2 of yogurt (I use Activia low-fat vanilla yogurt)
In your blender layer the milk, banana, yogurt on top of one another, Then add the spinach and frozen fruit. blend for as long as desired. Enjoy
(If you want your smoothie to be more filling, try adding oats)
